THE FIRST FEW MINUTES
Set up with
confidence.
Start with a verified release, an authorized website and a clear baseline.
1. Download and install
Download the official Windows release when available. Check the publisher and read the license terms. The final release page will state the tested system requirements; this preview is not an installer.
2. Add your website
Open the console. Add only a website you own or have the owner’s permission to monitor. Confirm that authorization and review which pages will be checked.
3. Activate your license
Open License & updates and follow the activation instructions supplied with your order. Keep the key out of screenshots and support requests.
4. Choose a schedule
Use Controls and Start-up & schedule to configure monitoring. Your PC must stay awake and online while the monitor runs. A desktop installation is not hosted, always-on monitoring.
5. Read your first findings
Check severity, evidence and the last successful observation. Confirm a warning in your own website tools before changing anything. Back up the site first.
6. Add optional lookups
If you choose WPScan, configure your own account and token privately in the application. Check the provider’s limits and charges. The $49 app purchase does not include that third-party service.
